Account and Data Deletion Request

In accordance with Google Play Developer Policies and the LingoSnap Privacy Policy, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data. This action will result in the complete and permanent removal of your information from our servers.

How to request account and data deletion

You have two methods to delete your data:

Method 1: Deletion directly from the mobile app (Recommended)

If you have the LingoSnap app installed on your device, you can delete your data by yourself:

  1. Open the LingoSnap app.
  2. Go to the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap the red "Delete Account" button.
  4. Confirm your action in the pop-up window. Your session will be terminated, and your data will be permanently deleted.

Method 2: Data deletion via Email Request

If you have uninstalled the app and no longer have access to it, you can send us a data deletion request via email:

  1. Send an email to: support@lingosnap.uk.
  2. Specify the subject line: "LingoSnap Account Deletion Request".
  3. In the email body, please include the email address or username you used during registration so we can identify your account.
  4. We will process your request within 3-5 business days and send you a confirmation email once all your data has been successfully deleted.

What data will be deleted?

When your account is deleted, the following information will be permanently erased from our servers:

We do not retain your information after the deletion request is completed. If you wish to use LingoSnap again in the future, you will need to create a new account and start your learning progress from scratch.
